Born from viera-fox village hidden in the depths of Nagxia, he did as every viera male did and grew out of his home to be raised to be guard of the village with the other boys, however, not every face is as trustworthy as it seems for he was sent with a viera buck that was corrupt, selling the younglings for spare parts or bodies in work and trade to Garlemald, later to be labeled as killed or missing during their training.Although the outcome was normal for fox kind, it wasn’t normal for the guard to work in connections with the outside world, to poach the young males into damnation, yet this is where Koei’s life had begun. Young males that left to defend the village were often missing in action or killed during their training, as they were seen more as numbers than beings. However, as these kits were hauled away, each was either bought, marked, or tagged. Bought for their services, marked for their uniqueness, or tagged for their organs. Those who had unique traits were usually sold to higher bidders as they were seen as rarities of their own kind.Koei is known for his bright smile, gentle attitude and comically aware zings and sarcasms, not in any intention to hurt anyone. However, this shows more as a front for his actual character. With his past, Koei has been adapted to having his nature being rewired into its own form of survival, where most viera program to protect and guard with fighting, he attuned to using other means in order to survive, getting him to where he is now. The trauma faced from being used for jobs and as an object to witnessing murder that he takes as his own guilt, wearing it as a looming shadow that follows close behind.With his experiences throughout life this however has rewired his way of thinking from not taking a compliment thinking its meant to be a form of work to be offered to certain phrases or keywords sending him into moments of darkness changing his bright demeanor.
